It was a short trip...

Liked: The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful and respectful. I recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for a clean and comfortable place to stay in Grinnell, Iowa. I will go to this hotel the next time we are visiting family in Grinnell, Iowa. Unfortunately, we were there for a funeral, but we enjoyed the room and staff.
Disliked: We had an issue with a table lamp but I told the front desk when we left and that the fan in the bathroom did not work and they were going to let maintenance know.

Liked: The breakfast was good - lots of options. Location near I80 was good. We really enjoyed the fire pit - what a nice surprise! And I really enjoyed the good decaf coffee and delicious cookie.
Disliked: The desk chair was hard and uncomfortable. We were grateful for a second chair, but wondered why there was no light near it. We also wonder why there are no towel bars in the bathroom.
