Liked: This place is the best value in Portland. The breakfast is always a fantastic treat, and the cookies upon check-in are always fresh and delicious.

We were comfortable and enjoyed...
Liked: The hotel common areas were clean, our room was pretty clean and the beds were comfortable, there were a lot of breakfast options and it was good, and the staff were professional and responsive.
Disliked: The only negative is that there were a lot of un-housed people at the gas station next to the hotel that appeared to be under the influence of substances. There was even a naked woman walking across the parking lot of the gas station when we first arrived at the hotel. When we left, there was a fire set in the gas station parking lot as well. We have nothing against un-housed and displaced people. We were concerned because they appeared to be under the influence and some were behaving erratically. The hotel has no control over the behavior of people around it, but I want to share this because we had our 9 year old with us. Just a FYI to be aware of this if you stay with your kids.
