Spacious but Dirty

Liked: The room was spacious. The staff was friendly.
Disliked: the carpets in the room and throughout the hotel were filthy. stains everywhere.They informed us the rooms are only cleaned every 3 days. Which is fine! But you get 1 coffee and 2 packets for c/so. When we asked for more, it never arrived. The hot breakfast was ok. It was brown n serve sausage and heated- frozen omlets.

Fine place for overnight stays

Liked: room was clean and bed very comfortable. breakfast was fine with good hot food along with the usual assortment of cold foods - coffee was great.
Disliked: There was an odor (of dill/spice) in the room as soon as you open the door - you get used to it once you are in the room and don't notice it. But it was off-putting. I was too tired to ask for a room change as I was only overnight. There was a broken light bulb in the lamp next to my bed - I just switched it out for the one in the lamp on the desk and left a note that it needed replacing, but these things really need to be checked by staff each time the room is cleaned. Again, too tired to wait for a replacement that night.
