The hotel needs updating and...

Disliked: Night shift front desk service rep was rude. When we arrived there was no one there but a small sign said they were assisting other guests and would be right back. My daughter had to use the restroom while we waited to check in but said the door was locked and returned. After 10 minutes I told her to try again and knock this time to ensure in was in fact in use and hopefully hurry the person inside but again she returned stating she only heard some cough. Five minutes later, a woman comes from the bathroom’s direction towards the front desk office door, looks at my daughter and says “where you the one knocking at the door?” Not a, hello or can I help you nor a smile. So I answered saying yes and that she wasn’t sure if the restroom was in use or simply locked. She then comes around the front desk and looks at me and says “oh, was she your daughter?” Then proceeds to check me in. It was very odd and frankly, rude. Do teenagers randomly go there to use the bathroom without being guests?Long story short, I didn’t even mind waiting 15 minutes to get checked in but the rudeness was uncalled for. ***The morning front desk rep was very pleasant and friendly though. Anyway, I won’t be going back. There were large stains on the floor and the shower hose had black mold on it. We only stayed one night luckily.
