Liked: Property was clean and staff friendly. I also had a pet traveling with me and price was reasonable
Disliked: Parking was a little tight. I was pulling a U-Haul trailer so it made it hard to turn around

Disliked: Hotel was very dirty, elevator did not work and we had to walk up and down to the third floor. Room was very dirty, hair all over the bedding and in the bathroom. Room smelled very musty. There were food stains all over the walls and ceiling. When booking, the pictures perceived the hotel in a very unkept and clean property and that was not the case. Please beware when booking to stay here! We were very upset at the cleanliness and lack of upkeep of the building.

Convenient location for Parris Island,...

Liked: This was a hotel recommended for a Parris Island graduation, and the location was very good for anyone coming in a car. Only 15 min drive from base. And great parking at hotel. Also, there is a lot of food and shopping near-by. Good supply of the local news paper, which had the news on the graduation. One of the staff members was chatty and helpful.
Disliked: The musty smell in the room kept the family awake all of the first night. We had to buy Febreeze, which immediately helped. The elevator did not work at all for all the days. The breakfast was essentially just coffee and some granola bars and two cereals. No tea, no juice, no fruit, no milk, no bread. So we had to eat out. The pool was visibly not clean. The room was really worn down. The carpet was filthy and smelled. The beds were wiggly and made noise. Towels were tiny and thin. We kept asking for more. but never had enough for all of us. Housekeeping did not come in for all 4 days, so we had to take out our own trash, and the beds were never made. It felt like this hotel is heavily used by military families who essentially need to stay there, but there is no care to keep it nice or welcoming. Too bad as much could be very easily done better to welcome customers.
