Liked: Everything was very clean. The Christmas decorations were beautiful. Loved the rocking chairs out front
Disliked: The walls were paper thin and you could hear EVERYTHING ! Anytime anyone opened a door on any floor you could hear. Anytime anyone walked down the hallway you could hear it. The face soap made me break out in a weird rash

Liked: Very very clean, staff was pleasant.Another reviewer complained that there were no USB ports. Not true. There is one on the back of the television just not on the lamps. I would absolutely stay here again.
Disliked: There is a bit of a musty smell when you first enter, but I actually think that’s from the vacuum cleaners that probably just need filters changed. Once inside for a few minutes, you don’t notice it.

Liked: It was conveniently located. The room aaa spacious. It was reasonable.
Disliked: The first receptionist I saw was very rude. I had arrived at 11:00am and asked if my room was ready. She points to the sign on the wall that says check in is 3:00pm. I said I know, I just wanted to see if my room was ready. She says let me see. Then she says the room is ready. So, I say great! She says psych, your room is not ready yet back at 2:45pm. She said since I had booked a king room, it had not been cleaned, yet. She said if there were not a lot of guests it would be ready. There were 3 cars in the front parking lot and 3 cars in the back. So, the hotel I. My estimation was not busy. I was not angry that the room was not ready, I understand check in policies. It was her attitude I could not abide. I had just driven 5 hours from NJ and I was in Ashland to probate my mom’s will. The last time I was in Ashland was the day my mom died. So, I was not feeling particularly great being there and then the receptionist’s attitude did not help. The 2nd receptionist (a male) when I was actually able to check in was very nice.
