Oh Dear .....

Liked: The location is nice and hotel dog friendly. The water was hot.
Disliked: The room was sad and tired. The beds had flat pillows and a flat duvet that was not quite warm enough. The bath had some burn damage on it. Slightly grubby feel to the bathroom and bedroom. Fittings in bathroom were cheap and plastic circa 1970sIn the evening on return we discovered you have to leave a sign on the door that says DO to get any room service so I had to make up bed and call reception for tea and coffee. We found rooms in main hotel building are ok from previous stays, but this is one of the forgotten rooms in the extension and it must also have gone downhill since then. We will look for alternatives next time we visit family.
