Somewhat pleasant but would probably...
Liked: Great touch with the milk and water machines, great amount of tea/coffee stuff in room. Free robe and slippers. Sauna/steamroom were great.
Disliked: Whirlpool was taken by same group of men for over an hour, didn’t get chance to get in for long and when we did there were bits floating all over. There was a strong smell of fish throughout the hotel for the entire duration of the day. Not sure if this was from restaurant but as my partner is a vegetarian it wasn’t ideal. The robes and bedding smelled like fried oil as if it was communally dried in a big kitchen. Pool was nice although a little cold. £15pp extra for the spa for not booking directly even though I didn’t get my moneys worth due to it not being fairly manned.

Disliked: A little bit of empathy from Booking.com regarding the fact that a 2 night stay had to be cut down to a 1 night stay due to the fact my wife had contracted a virus and as a precaution( not wanting to pass said virus on to anyone) we decided to check out and go home.Speaking to the reception at checkout, they said they would, with agreement with booking.com, allow the second night to be taken at a later date but from the last email I received from booking.com you would not sanction the refund.So in all not at all happy. Perhaps I will get better treatment if I booked direct with Cottons Hotel and Spa instead of booking through Booking.com.
