No complaints, would stay again...

Liked: We arrived early as previously requested, they greeted us and allowed us to park while we arranged cycle hire. There was a birthday message for my husband on our parking sign. On booking in later in the day greeted with coffee and cake and given info. Friendly staff throughout.Cycle experience bike hire close by and eateries if you don't use the in house restaurant. Food inside the property was lovely too. Only had breakfast there but dinner was available if required.

A trip where we were...

Liked: The staff are very friendly, accommodating & helpful. Our room had a large bedroom, hanging wardrobe & bathroom. It was fresh & very clean. The breakfast is exceptional. Produce is locally sourced as much as is possible & the menu is extensive & varied.

Exceptional

Liked: We forgot to let the hotel know we had a little baby. However, they found a solution and got us a bigger room without any hassle or fuss. Lovely people and very friendly.

A very pleasant stay. I...

Liked: Breakfast was amazing with a good choice of items. Plenty of tea or coffee to keep the cold out.All staff were very welcoming and attentive and nothing was too much trouble.We had a very pleasant meal in the Whitetails restaurant on our second evening, which was of excellent quality . Breakfast was a delight and very enjoyable. Cooked options were served freshly prepared and piping hot, excellent service on both our breakfast mornings.
Disliked: The only 2 things that my friend didn’t get on with the first was she kept bumping her head on the sloping ceiling in the bedroom and the other was that she found the room quite cold, which with the help of the portable heater inside the clothes hanging cupboard was quickly improved.
