We had a lovely stay...

Liked: We had a wonderful stay at the cottage inn. When we arrived we were given an upgrade free of charge to a larger room. The cabin was clean, cosy and comfortable. Every morning we received a lovely breakfast at our requested time. The staff were friendly, helpful and informative. The location was ideal, very quiet and right next to 4 different restaurants/cafes and a little market. On our first day we saw 2 bears! We look forward to returning in the future.
Disliked: It would have been nice to be informed what the main dish was each morning for breakfast so we knew whether we wanted to order it or not. As with pretty much every accommodation we have used it would be nice if the room included a toaster, in case we wanted to stay in for lunch or dinner we could easily just have toast or a bagel to eat.

Just one word sums it...

Liked: Breakfast was wonderful. Accommodations were also wonderful.
Disliked: Everything was wonderful. Just price point.

Nature, beach, good food, cozy...

Liked: It was an exceptional stay and vacation for us. The area of the property is so beautiful, the cottages so cute and quite, too even if its directly next to the main street. When we arrived we had a lot of marvellous recommendations from the owner. She explained us everything we need to know. The breakfast is delivered every morning to your door and you just need to fill out a paper what you would like to eat. The complete concept is just so nice and lovely! You are having a private beach access through a key. We went there for two days and it was splendid. We saw a lot of squirrels but no bears, the morning we were about to depart even a little frog was on our terrace. Next to the area is a little shop they doing flatbreads, really good! So basically you have everything you need nearby but a bigger safeways can be found in Tahoe City (10 minutes by car).We would definitely come back to this place if we will stay at Lake Tahoe another time and we highly recommend to go there!! Also the area is for us personally the best of Lake Tahoe (we drove around the whole Lake).
Disliked: Nothing, it was just extraordinary.

Lovely spot, nice ambiance

Disliked: Only issue for me was that the mattress was a little "saggy" for my personal preference. It'd also be nice to have a better mix of pillow thicknesses. All the pillows with quite thick, which is uncomfortable for my neck. Having a couple thin pillows along with the thick pillows would cover a wider range of preferences.

Disliked: Room was very crowded. The bathroom was way too small and the room was very dark at night especially. Needs bright lights.

Staff couldn't have been nicer....

Liked: The breakfast selections were very good, and always delivered with a smile and on time.
Disliked: May have liked daily housekeeping services, but we managed nicely

Liked: The appeal of the property is the location. Staff was cordial. It was quiet at night. The breakfast was a disappointment. We had expected a prepared meal. It was more a continental breakfast with a not good entree--couldn't eat it. Being on the West Shore is a positive. The room was ready and clean when we arrived. Liked that they did not makeup the room daily.
Disliked: Breakfast. See above comment. Or clarify the breakfast part of the B and B is a continental meal.
