Extremely good value for money,...

Liked: This hotel is beautiful, every single member of staff are fantastic, everyone we dealt with were so good. Hotel is clean, nice atmosphere to the bar area, its warm, great views and the foods amazing.
Disliked: Wifi on the top floor not the best..... but once in the bar area it was ok.

Great location, overall an enjoyable...

Liked: Great views & generally the staff were friendly. Good shower & comfortable bed in the room. The main hotel building was clean and pleasantly furnished. Breakfast on the first of our three day stay was excellent.
Disliked: The room was very basic. There was an annoying light in the kitchen/lobby where the kettle is kept, that switched off every few seconds. The shower was a bit mouldy in places and the window trickle vent was broken which allowed insects into the room. Car park could be noisy especially as this room is on the ground floor. Breakfast on days 2 & 3 was served by different staff and by comparison to the first day was disappointing, the portion size was much smaller, and although polite, the staff were less friendly.Although I had specifically asked for a 'gluten free' breakfast in advance, only gluten free toast was provided. No sausages, no cereal etc.

A beautiful oasis of light,...

Liked: Emerged from the darkness of Birmingham on a cold, impenetrable December night, after a 26 hour day in December, to be greeted by a fabulous, resplendent angel at reception, who kindly anticipated my every need! Another angel (over the many years I have stayed, this hotel seems to specialise in the recruitment of angels) decanted a glass of fizz, and there followed a beautifully balanced, expertly produced and nuanced meal in the lovely restaurant!Retiring to my room (room 3 in the main house) to “crash and burn” (in the modern vernacular) a cosy warm bed awaited, with every convenience (including a generous bottle of Malvern Spring Water from just up the hill behind)! Lovely breakfast and an early start back, completed the usual wondrous pit stop in a working week! A great base for work in the Mid Country, and with rates off season that are easily affordable on expenses! Just don’t tell a soul!!!!
Disliked: Everything Lovely

Started well however, seems to...

Liked: Breakfast was very good - view from the dinning area excellent - clearly this what one is paying for.
Disliked: Bathroom had some mould marks within the shower basin. Expensive in bar -gratuities added for two drinks . Food was very good but small potions . Was asked to leave as the staff wanted to knock off early as it was quite and nobody else was in the bar or restaurant. Was asked to leave 21:15pm - So wandered into Malvern for a drink ! - There was also some back chat between staff about one of their team - which as customer didn't need hear and was somewhat unprofessional.

Pretty view

Liked: The view is the best feature of the property. The house was warm and there was plenary of hot water.
Disliked: The house has the main items needed but will be ready for a bit of deep clean and touch up for next season.

Nice hotel...

Liked: Restaurant was lovely views were wonderful
Disliked: Room wasn't clean, showerhead was full of limescale the shelf in the. Bathroom was falling off, shower would over flow when removed the drain it was disgusting. Toilet roll was left with a few pieces not a fresh clean roll. Table in the main room was all water marked and damaged. .. little disappointed for being a "superior room". Not much a of a view out our room.Tried to explain at reception and it was brushed off.. on final bill charged gratuities...which should be optional
