Nice hotel

Liked: Breakfast was amazing and the dinner in Brasserie was great (tasty and quick).Grounds and the location are great, rooms are spacious.Restaurant should switch off air-conditioning for the winter - as this is very bad for the environment.
Disliked: The showers are in-built into the wall (i.e. no flexible shower horse available) and the bath sewage was partially blocked. Hoots on the door in the room were broken. Very small swimming pool.Very soft spring mattress - uncomfortable.

Will always be my fav

Liked: My fav place to visit. Hotel is always lovely and the surrounding are gorgeous.
Disliked: Should have taken my own pillow or asked for additional really. Flimsy. Also should have booked spa before visiting. Was very busy.

Good but there is better

Liked: free wifi, free car parking and the staff was very nice and helpful as can be. they dont excited but they where good one.
Disliked: I don't like the fact I have to pay on top for the swimingpool.The breakfast you need to book a slot and you can't go when you are ready, so only during your slot.I don't like the fact even a bottle of water was not available for free but you are force to buy.

Be careful of the thin...

Liked: It is in a lovely area with lots to do.
Disliked: The walls are so thin you can hear everything. The cleaners were cleaning the room next door to us at 6am waking us up. The people in the room next door came back at midnight drunk and we could hear everything they were saying due to the thin walls. The rooms are not very high quality. The bathroom was a bit dingy so we didn’t really enjoy using it.

We would love to return...

Liked: Fantastic breakfast. Lots of healthy foods to select from. Beautiful views of the lake while enjoying breakfast. The buffet food items were replenished at each sitting. The meals at The Old Boathouse were also delicious. The hot smoked salmon and prawn linguine was exceptional.The room was spacious and the air was fresh as we could open a window. The quality of the bedding was excellent.The staff at De Vere were outstanding. The reception staff helped us with booking taxis, printing car rental documents, and providing bus schedules. They were all so friendly and professional. We had a fantastic experience staying at De Vere Cotswold Water Park. We also loved seeing the dogs that were welcome at the hotel.
