Warm and cosy accommodation

Liked: Fantastic accommodation. Lovely cottage.
Disliked: Full English breakfast was very small and not filling. No beans or black pudding and 1 piece of bacon. Enough for a child but not an adult

Amazing choice of hotel for...

Liked: We had a lovely room facing the the picturesque rear gardens. The room was clean and spacious, hotel staff were pleasant and amiable. Couldn't fault the afternoon tea, dinner & breakfast. The hotel was very well looked after & located central to the high street. We will definetely be going back again.

Liked: Breakfast was excellent.
Disliked: I booked this hotel after checking the main menu. I didn’t realise that the only menu that would be on offer was the Valentine’s menu, which was exceedingly disappointing. I checked with a member of staff and asked if it was the only menu available and was told that it was. My husband would have enjoyed a steak but the only beef on offer was a sharing cote de boeuf, which I do not to eat.We were asked what we wanted to drink when we went to the bar for a pre dinner drink and then waited almost 15 minutes before they arrived.

Overpriced Room

Liked: Nice to have a bar on site.Good location.
Disliked: Very overpriced. A long black hair was found on the sheet. Was not mine or my husbands. Room was not practical at all. Sink was too shallow & water went everywhere when taps were turned on. Spots of paint on the floor in the toilet. For nearly £300 a night you would have thought the room would have been finished to a higher standard.

Great hotel with good service

Liked: Great hotel, pleasant staff on reception. Parking area at the back. We had a lovely meal in the restaurant. Would happily stay here again.
