Hotel Description
Costislost is a luxury B&B with a focus on relaxation. It features a spacious dining room and lounge overlooking the garden and the surrounding woodland and fields. All rooms have free WiFi and there is free on-site parking. Each room is individually designed and the King rooms feature a super king-size bed high ceilings and original artwork. All rooms a flat-screen TV Egyptian cotton bed linen tea/coffee making facilities including Nespresso machine and a large bathroom with free White Company toiletries. A variety of cooked breakfasts prepared with local produce is served daily. The property uses local suppliers as much as possible and features bread baked on-site. The local countryside is ideal for scenic walks and cycling with the River Camel and the Camel Trail close by. A number of beaches and the beautiful Camel Estuary are within a 15-minute drive and the Eden Project or Padstow can be reached in around 20 minutes by car.

A gem of a find

Liked: I wish we could have stayed longer! A delightful period manor house which was very spacious and comfortable. Lorna was an excellent host and our breakfast was beyond what we expected. Beautiful and quiet location that is close to Wadebridge and Padstow. Definitely will come back before we leave the UK.

A wonderful stay

Very good

Liked: The warm welcome, lovely service at breakfast, cosy room and charming quaintness.
Disliked: Very hard to find. The only signage was a small plaque at the gate which was obscured by a bend in the road.The house needed to have the name on it as I wasn't sure I had the right place.Signs on the road would help enormously.

A welcome surprise with an...

Liked: Now, this was a surprise. A sizeable old-worldly estate home in a rural setting. Loved the antique feel to the lounge/library as well as the extensive timber panelling throughout. Being the only guests, we had the run of the house. This home has not had an extensive make-over and, in many ways, is all the better for it. The maintenance requirements must be very demanding and costly. Good freshly cooked breakfast. Added bonus of a complementary guided tour of the 'Pencarrow' stately home and access to the gardens was very much appreciated.
Disliked: The inclement weather made it difficult to appreciate the surroundings.
