Liked: The beautifully renovated 16th century building, the omnipresent Italian flair, the quiet neighbourhood, the friendly host, and last but not least, the sweet dog René.
Disliked: Nothing

Liked: Unique experience. Wonderful Italian countryside villa. Full of frescoes and art. The interiors are a perfect wedding of contemporary design and a timeless charm of a historic home, adorned with captivating works of art. The food is great and the staff is incredibly nice and kind. One of the most relaxing holidays.

Liked: The place is amazing, so beautiful and pastoral. It's a great combination of authenticity and comfort.The rooms and surroundings are well kept, and our hosts were extremely kind and helpful.We also enjoyed a lovely breakfast.Recommend to take a walk to the backyard looking like a small fairytale.

Liked: Breakfast was excellent - mixture of Italian biscuits, cereals and cakes, but also lovely scrambled egg on toast. Great coffee to. Very pleasant way to get the day started.The location was ideal for Mantova, our main stopping off point, but was also perfectly situated for days out in Parma, Verona and Lake Garda. Also, depending on the season the area is quite an interesting area for nature - the Mincio Reserve - and we saw loads of Cattle Egrets in the fields, there is a Stork sanctuary nearby and loads of opportunities for boat trips on the local lakes and waterways.
Disliked: Nothing really. A few more electrical sockets would have been nice, and perhaps a shaver port in the bathroom. However, this is really nit-picky, as the building was an old and traditional agriturismo. We managed perfectly well.
