Liked: Location An easy walk into town
Disliked: We booked a standard room and the room was nothing close to standard. We were in room 8 which is so small we had to continually walk around each other and even the shower was a mini version and gave us no space to be comfortable.We had to pay for our stay on arrival and had no opportunity to see the room and would certainly not have checked in had we seen it beforehand

Liked: The staff were expecting us and were very warm, welcoming and informative. We particularly liked the complimentary sherry - that was an unexpected and most welcome surprise. Dinner was delicious and inexpensive. The room was perfect for a one night stay.
Disliked: We were lucky to get a parking space on the street as there was no parking available at the hotel.We left before breakfast service began as I had an early bus to catch, so am unable to comment on the breakfast, but I was taken aback that breakfast was not included in the price of the room.

Liked: The accommodation was average, we liked it was warm and liked the location and it was dog friendly
Disliked: It was not a Deluxe room, needs an update, the bathroom was old, the floor was old, the toilet didn't flush properly, I think something was wrong with the bathroom window because the bathroom was freezing cold, the bed was too small, a king size one would have been better, the curtains seemed to be hanging off the rails,we also had the noise from the bar downstairs.

Liked: Beautiful location with friendly staff and especially one cleaner (unfortunately can't remember her name) who went above and beyond for us
Disliked: If i had to point out one thing it would be the lack of bins especially for dog waste as i was travelling with 2 dogs and had to take their poo bags with me until i could find a bin
