Lovely stay

Liked: Lovely hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Evening meal was delicious and in the morning there was a large choice for breakfast which again was excellent.
Disliked: Unfortunately our stay was blighted by a continuous drone over the 2 nights of what I think was the central heating pumps. At checkout I was told that the central heating knocks off at night, but on the second night I had to turn the radiator off as we were too warm

Lovely one night stay

Liked: Beautiful hotel and restaurant in a great location for the town centre, only a 5-10 minute walk away. Staff were helpful and friendly. Cooked full-english Breakfast was nice. Room was great with plenty of storage. Having a bath in the ensuite was a nice bonus. Also plenty of information in the room about surrounding areas and places to visit.
Disliked: The pillows (just not firm enough for us),....I realise this comes down to personal taste

Quaint and comfortable

Liked: Great location, quaint small hotel, parking included
Disliked: Can hear lots of noises from the pipes in the room when toilet or sinks are in use from others and your own room Bar closing at 11 of a Saturday night

A Wonderful Stay

Liked: We only stayed for one night but wish it could have been longer. The hotel was a lovely charming character building, very cosy and lovely atmosphere. The staff from the moment we checked in through to our leaving were so pleasant and helpful. We had an evening meal in the restaurant, which we all loved and the food was extremely good. Breakfast the following morning was excellent and great choices. The rooms were very clean and a good size. Everything you needed for the stay was supplied. The location is absolutely ideal for walking 5 minutes into Cirencester centre. We would love to return again and thoroughly recommend the hotel.

A delightful stay in a...

Liked: We were greeted with a warm welcome with coffee and biscuits on the house. The staff went out of their way to help with any questions. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Great access to the town centre and not too far to drive to the rest of the Cotswolds.
Disliked: The room could have been a bit warmer, but we were given a fan heater which helped enormously.

Liked: Bed was comfortable and facilities were great. Brilliant location to explore Cirencester and the surrounding areas.
Disliked: Noises from other guests surrounding the room was an issue, however we understand this can't be helped being an old building.

Liked: The oldy worldy feel of the place, lots of history and character. Large car park and close to town centre. Excellent value for money.
Disliked: Small bedroom and steep stairs but have to accept that they had to be like this due to the age of the building.
