Better than expected.

Liked: Wonderfully helpful staff. Fabulous breakfast both in choice & quality. Great location, 5 minute walk into the town centre. Full of charm & quirky.

Lovely mini-break hotel

Liked: Friendly welcome, easy parking , great location as close to town to walk in but no traffic noise at night. Pleasant outdoor seating in garden. Characterful comfy rooms with wonderful old beams , one room was recently renovated , the other had rather a strange shower which required a seated position for a 6ft3 in man! Good dinner and excellent breakfast.
Disliked: Minor point- Stairs to bedrooms were rather steep

Friendly, clean and convenient.

Liked: The location was excellent, a five minute walk into town , but on the edge so you didnt have to drive through the one way system to get out. The breakfast was extensive and the staff very helpful. Every where was constantly being cleaned.
Disliked: The only small gripe I had was that there was no plug socket on one side of the bed, but as this is an old property I can live with that!
