Liked: Great location in city centre, very walkable. Comfy bed, helpful staff.
Disliked: Very dated decor and facilities, didn't look quite like the pictures. Small and expensive car park.

Our entire stay exceeded expectation.

Excellent stay, with good facilities...

Liked: The room was well appointed and with unobstructed views of the harbour this was an excellent stay. The bed was comfortable and the wifi was easy to use. It was also walking distance to the places I wanted to go.
Disliked: The only issue was that the car parking was limited and was very tight.

Liked: room, view, location all met my expectations as I have stayed there before
Disliked: CHECK-IN: 1) couldn't check in online as the link was removed from each of the emails I received. 2) Actual check-in was unwelcoming - I was told first of all no booking, then when showing it to the receptionist on my phone she was slightly unpleasant, intimating it was my fault for booking under my surnameCOPTHORNE BAR: met with 6 friends in the bar for pre-dinner drinks. Service was poor - slow, served out of turn and staff disinterested. One friend ordered a bourbon and coke and received a bourbon and pepsi. Asked one of the bar staff about this and was told in a totally disinterested manner that the hotel bought pepsi rather than coke because it was cheaper before wandering off and not engagingROOM: had a room booked for three guests but just two wine glasses, two water glasses and two coffee mugs

Happy with my stay

Liked: I liked the 7th floor lobby area, The room size was great, a little dated but very clean. sliding door and little balcony that allowed fresh air in. No USB power. Strong shower and comfortable bed.
Disliked: The hotel is dated bit that is reflected in the price. Gym is off site so I did not use.

Really good and late booking

Liked: Solid albeit looking a little tired.
Disliked: Not a lot of parking
