The staff are truly outstanding! Accommodated my every need. The head chef Rob worked with me on my dietary requirements as a competitive bodybuilder which was over and beyond. It had been a long time since I’ve stayed in hotel with service and staff of this calibre.

Disappointed after our third stay...

Liked: Location is perfect for a night away if you want abit of shopping & local pub over the canal is great for food & relaxing with good music on at weekends .
Disliked: How cold our rooms was , asked for maintenance to attend to check our radiator & was told nothing could be done but he agreed the room was very cold so just told us to get on with it , I wasn’t happy with that reply as it was New Year’s Eve I needed to shower to change for my evening which was impossible with the room temperature .. it felt like -4 you could see your own breath so that then spoilt our night we wanted to go home . After deciding to return back to reception to ask if we could possibly use a portable heater .. a lovely gentleman was able to move us to another room which at 22:00hrs it’s too late to go out for new year so just wanted bed an the night to end .
