Liked: Staff were all lovely. The room was very clean and had a bath as well as a shower. We were able to drop the car off in the car park earlier than our check in time. Drink voucher for the bar was very welcome and there was water and sprite in the fridge in the room together with tea and coffee. The breakfast room overlooked the dock and was very pleasant and the breakfast selection was very good. The location is great for the tram (just across the road) which gives access to everywhere in Manchester, and also for Media City.
Disliked: Just a small gripe, but the room was a little dated.

I'm not a heavy traveller,...

Liked: The size of the room was nice. The mirrors, floor, nightstand and fridge were clean. There were couple of chars as well and a good size desk. The blackout curtains were nice design, and provided some privacy. The TV had bluetooth and Miracast, so I could connect my phone to it.
Disliked: Some of the hangers were damaged, the bath was quite dirty (with rust and limescale), the bedding wasn't fresh (felt and smelled like it hadn't been changed recently), the walls were super thin (I could hear the loud birds outside, someone tinkle ever so often in the next room, toilet flushes, baby cries and was also woken up regularly by door slams and people walking down the corridor).
