Exceptional

Perfect for those short term...

Liked: While the hotel is dated and requires some maintenance, it's perfect for short stays, especially if you are attending a concert at the arena. Room was a good size and I liked that it had an external balcony. Staff we friendly and helpful. Breakfast had a good selection and dining area was nice with lots of room.
Disliked: Being charged $30 for parking and car parks are limited. Room door didn't shut unless giving it a good slam. Shower was slow to drain and meant you were standing in 2-3 inches of water. Aircon unit was one of those old noisy vented units. Bar was closed at 10:30pm.

Liked: The price was reasonable.
Disliked: The room had a very noisy air-conditioner which meant I had to turn it off and was cold in the night.

Disliked: There was no car park. You guys should change the description to book in advance or something. I was upset after driving few hours to be told was packed and I needed to ring. If is first in first serve them that should be in the description and I would picked a place that comes with car park.

Perfect location but requires a...

Liked: The hotel is very run down. The room is pretty small with very old furniture that smells. The corners of the rooms definitely require a fill in and new painting as well as a new carpet. Also the toilet smelt very strong chlorine which lasted the whole day. They did my bed but didn’t vacuum which I’m unsure why. The good part of the stay was that it was close to the Spark arena which was the main reason for the stay as well as nice staff in general. Although the life was small but they had 3 so it was fast at getting up and down.

Liked: Aircon smells when, like sewage sort of smell. Needs a clean.Shower rose is broken, needs replacing.

Great stay at the Copthorn

Liked: Love the Hotel. Was an amazing place to stay. Friendly staff, warm & cozy room. Great place for someone looking for comfort in the city.
Disliked: There were a few minor things, like the shower handle had fallen off, and the parking wasn't super easy for someone with a low vehicle.
