Liked: Location, easy parking, friendly customer service
Disliked: Carpets were old, worn out and did not look fresh. There was a smell of dust in the room throughout. The hotel looked old fashioned, old and not a value for the price paid.Breakfast was just the same for all the three days I stayed. Only the pancakes changed to french toast on one day.

Bad

Liked: The carpet in the rook is VERY DIRTY and INHYGIENIC. BOOKING.COM DOES NOT PROVIDE BREAKFAST OPTION AND THERE IS NO BREAKFAST FROM COPTHORNE HOTEL. THIS HOTEL DOESN'T HAVE ANY RESTAURANT FOR DINNER.

Comfortable and warm but expensive...

Liked: The bed and pillows were really comfortable and the room was spacious. It had a courtyard too which I didn’t use.
Disliked: It would have been great if there had been a microwave in the room but there was only a jug. The shower over bath was a bit dated and wasn’t all that clean- dark grime or mould visible in the joins. There was shampoo but no conditioner. The hotel restaurant wasn’t open for dinner.

Liked: Great view from large room.
Disliked: No food other than breakfast (for which we were compensated). Also, hotel is not suited to anyone with mobility issues as lift does not serve reception/ front door, and hotel is up a steep hill from Queenstown centre.
