Best hotel in Torun

Liked: Would not stay anywhere else when visiting Torun .Always enjoy our stay , really comfortable bed ,great shower and extensive breakfast with fantastic choice .
Disliked: Nothing

Liked: The positive point is the location, which indeed is great - very close to the old town. I am afraid this is the only good point I could mention.
Disliked: I really can’t understand why this hotel has such high scores - especially in Google reviews, while honestly it deserves to be rated as very mediocre, not to be too harsh. I have been to a number of 4 starts hotels and this one was literally the worst and also the worst value for the money. It was way too expensive for what it offers.The building itself already looks very outdated and nothing like on pictures, inside…well the reception desk looks fine, rooms are okeish, but the spa is ridiculously outdated. It gives you a feeling of a very old place. The swimming pool and spa in theory is quite rich in choice but the quality and cleanliness is far from good.Working hours - until 21, but you should leave at 20:45, but the employees turn off the saunas already at 20:30.The TV in the room is very old, really…in less star hotels they place newer ones. The hairdryer was a disaster - very weak and you have to push the button constantly so that it works. It reminded me of hostels.On Saturday there was a wedding and it was super loud at night - not a thing you would expect when go to SPA to relax. It was exactly on our side of the room! Luckily after I complained we were moved for the night to another room, but it meant we had to go to another place at night just to take a bit better sleep. Still far from perfect as the music could be heard as well, and we were just next to lifts which were loud and people used them the whole night. I got a much worse sleep than in any other hotel or at home. They tried - the room they gave us was the best one, I checked and its rate is 1700 PLN, however to be honest I have been to hotels with such rates per night and the quality is incomparable. At this hotel they simply overcharge you for any room.I would like to underline that if a hotel expects to hold a wedding, they shall accommodate other guests adequately from the very beginning and not just try to fix the mess later.

Liked: the 2 swimming pools were excellent dinning and bar were excellent our room overlooking the pool was fantastic
Disliked: pillows were terrible tiny and they were foam asked the cleaners if they had feather ones but was told no the other negative was there was no iron in the room i find this very extraordinary as this was a 4 star hotel these were the only two negatives

Disliked: Rooms not clean. They didn’t change the sheets and not once my balcony was cleaned. Cans and bottles on the balcony from previous customers, spiders and webs. My balcony door was not cleaned once lots of fingerprints. For that amount of money i will never stay there again.
