Fabulous weekend in beautiful Copenhagen
Liked: Hotel is a classic early 20th Century building and is furnished appropriately If you are looking for modern glitz and glam, this is not for you but if you appreciate architecture and design of the early 20th century this one is for you. We had a room overlooking Tivoli (and the main road) and a small balcony . I thought you could see into Tivoli gardens when booking but it is actually across the road (my mistake) The hotel is in an excellent location for seeing Copenhagen.....right next to train station and metro and the Danish transport system is superb. We bought a city pass and this lets you jump on and off buses, trains, metro and harbour ferries as many times as you like within the validity period. would definitely recommend this. Tivoli garden sis straight across the road and there are plenty of restaurants around. The hotel restaurant was excellent at night and reasonably priced (for Copenhagen) Breakfast was superb....with an amazing selection. There is luggage storage too which was really handy as our flight home was at 8 pm
Disliked: We were unfortunate that the main road outside was undergoing noisy road works but they did supply earplugs and it was fine.

Liked: I don't know where to start about our wonderful stay in beautiful Copenhagen. It was our first visit to Denmark. My two boys and I were there during Christmas. Place was so convenient in front of Tivoli Gardens for kids' amusement rides and central train station. We even went on a day trip to Malmo, Sweden. You could walk to many shopping areas and plazas as well as museums and attractions within 1 mile radius. Our room was so comfy, clean and updated with two balconies facing Tivoli Gardens. The breakfast was the best breakfast I've had in my life at a hotel. I have stayed in hotels in the US and throughout Europe but the breakfast and service was spectacular. The staff was wonderful from the front desk Emill and another young lady who helped me with the converter phone charger to the restaurant staff. Everyone was so welcoming and nice. We were there for 3 nights and went to another country in Europe and returned back to the same room for another 3 nights. They even held one of our carry on suitcases for 1 week free of charge. I cannot say enough good things about this place. I rarely leave reviews and I am not satisfied easily. I have high standards but this hotel exceeded my expectations in every regard. I am planning to go there with my husband in 2026 on a couple's trip this time without the kids and will stay at this same hotel. Thank you, thank you for making our first visit in Denmark really special! We love you Copenhagen Plaza :)

Perfect location. Very close to...
Liked: The location was great especially if you plan to visit tivoli gardens and watch fireworks at the square which is only about 5 minutes away and most food restaurants are close by. Breakfast was good amount. Good selection. Staff were okay especially the young blonde lady receptionist which unfortunately we didn’t manage to get her name. We also like the library bar and the century old lift which is fascinating. Would recommend to book with the view of the city with veranda.
Disliked: Could do with a refurbishment. The toilet especially needs retouch of paint and replace tile grout. There was construction on the road opposite the hotel and there was a plank of thick metal sheet which makes a horrible banging noise every time a bus passes by. Not the hotel’s fault but they could have spoken with roadworks people before they stopped for the holidays to work to place the metal sheet properly so it doesn’t make a loud noise throughout the day. The rooms are also too dark.
