Set in a heritage-listed 1780s building this waterfront hotel is next to Amalienborg Royal Palace and opposite Copenhagen Opera House. It offers a gourmet restaurant breakfast buffet with organic foods plus in-room tea/coffee facilities. Two hundred-year-old Pomeranian pine beams brickwork and archways add a distinct charm to Copenhagen Admiral. Most rooms include exposed wooden beams in their design. Good experience but a bit...

Liked: Great location!!! Very clean, quiet but located in the most popular area at the same time, amazing
Disliked: There were some missing materials for being a 5 star hotel; for example room phone was not working. There were no slippers, no face towels and no coffee/tea machine in the room. No one from the reception was informing about the hotel after check-in, I asked which floor our room was.

It was amazing!

Liked: I loved the Hotel and would definitely come back! The only things that bugged me a little was the fact that we asked to use the sauna and the staff didn’t answer us properly. We asked someone else a little later and he helped us. The other thing was the cleanliness of the bathroom. It was alright, but could’ve been a little better. Overall, nothing dramatic. The beds were great, the staff was friendly, the overall atmosphere was amazing and the hotel is very central, we were able to walk everywhere. We will definitely come back!

Renovation going on so be...

Liked: It was still a lovely stay even though we did not get the water view room. Our room can start to hear some renovation sound if we leave the room in the late mornings or when we come back for a quick drop off in the afternoon. The room was comfortable with wooden beams at the ceiling of the rooms. It’s meant to hold the structure and outside of the rooms, there are arches. Quite interesting and I quite like it.
