Superb

Aircon hell, not a boutique...

Liked: The location: right at the centre of Coogee, very close to the sea, professional and friendly reception staff., clean rooms, comfy bed.
Disliked: There is nothing boutique about this hotel: this is a big operation with standard hotel rooms. The sea view rooms are above the bar, restaurant and other hotels's backyard and their cooling units are so noisy running 24/7 you can't keep the window open. Even with the window closed we needed earplugs. Worse, the room's aircon we had to use was rattling. I regretted not asking for swapping with a street side room.

Comfort at its best!

Liked: location was great, so close to all things amazing but not right in the craziness either. Loved the size of the room, bathroom and having a kitchen was a bonus!
Disliked: didn't love that I couldn't check in easily late at night when no one was there. a keypad entry would be great for guests arriving outside of regular check in times due to flight schedule.

Liked: Excellent location a few minutes stroll from beach. Beautiful and tastefully appointed large rooms. Friendly staff. High quality tea/coffee and bathroom supplies

Overall great experience and great...

Liked: The location and the safe feeling about the hotel
Disliked: The first night stay we hardly got any sleep due to the room next to us. I am not sure what was going on but it sounded like they stayed up all night partying and then at 5-5:30 AM they started fighting at each other. We called the after hours due to our concerns their may be domestic violence.

Excellent stay over six days....

Liked: Location was great and within walking distance to beach, shops and restaurants. Staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Stephen on front desk. Room service menu had many choices to select, prices very reasonable and delivery service was the quickest we have experienced from all other hotels.
Disliked: Nothing.
