Excellent location but poor accommodation

Liked: Location is good. Very close to parking (20 Eu/day), metro station, one of main shopping streets Maria Hilfestrase, great coffee shop just across the street and excellent bakery practically next door to hotel. There we had our breakfast since hotels was pretty modest in choice and quality. HiFi was free and descent.
Disliked: This is not a hotel. Its a building with rooms dispersed on several flors and mixed with private apartments and businesses. Thats why you have to have your key with you all the time to open multiple doors to reach your room. And after 10 pm everything locs. If you dont have a key and mobile battery runs out you can only yell from the street. Elevator is for two persons or one with suitcase. Building and rooms are old which can be seen and smelled. There is only mini bar with water and Coke. Nothing else except in our friends room where there were leftovers somebody left days ago (imagine the smell). Mattresses are decent but pillow (one) is soft. When we arrived old guy tried to place us in rooms 11 and 14 which are extremely small and not what we reserved. After our strong complain we got rooms 33 and 41 which were better but still not like ones on the site. There is no lobby, breakfast room is crowded.

A wonderful Stay.

Liked: We had a wonderful stay! The staff was incredibly kind and helpful, treating us like friends throughout our visit. When our son fell ill, they were genuinely concerned and checked in to see if we needed any assistance. The breakfast was more than enough, and the location was perfect. We truly appreciated the thoughtful care they provided.

Ok for short stay but...

Liked: Location, near parking, the breakfast was simple but fresh and quite good. Flexible staff with parking request and cot for baby
Disliked: Rooms are shabby and sadly not clean, especially staying with children would think twice. Furniture and state of the rooms are definitely not a 4 star level
