The Hotel Continental was originally built for the 1964 Swiss National Exhibition in Lausanne and was recently refurbished modernized and enlarged. It is located opposite Lausanne's Main Train Station a 10-minute walk from the Old Town and the shopping area. It offers air-conditioned rooms and free WiFi. The nonsmoking rooms feature a flat-screen TV with satellite channels a mini-bar and a bathroom. A rich buffet breakfast is served every day. Great place to be. A...

Liked: Love the location that is right across the train station. With luggages, travelling with young kids, and sightseeing cities, it was a great place to be. The service was also unexpectedly nice. Staff was very welcoming and accommodating. I'll stay here again!
Disliked: The style is a bit outdated. But honestly, I don't mind. It's OK for our two night stay.
