Disliked: Horrible room service.

Wonderful room; great bed; excellent service. Can't wait to return to this lovely downtown Indianapolis hotel.

Disliked: No negatives at all.

The location was great. Was able to walk to all venues that we had planned for the weekend.

Disliked: The Capitol Grille (attached to the hotel) closed at 11 pm on Saturday night.

We felt like royalty!

Liked: It was a beautiful hotel. We liked that it was close to a lot. We enjoyed our comfy room and the spa and workout area.
Disliked: The pool was very cold but we were told it needed maintenance.

It was a nice place....

Disliked: The beds and pillows were not comfortable..parking was not ideal. There was a homeless man outside who followed us asking us for money....we know that is beyond your control..but the question was what did we dislike

Amenities and staff not worth...

Liked: Room and spa was clean.
Disliked: We went for the spa (specifically steam room and sauna). They always have issues with the facilities so I called every day for a week before our stay. They confirmed it was working fine. Call the day of and steam room was closed for maintenance. Very disappointing. We get there and they are somewhat working (probably because I complained about it) and also they have spa Day passes which people expect those to work. We had a decent day, but so much drama! Next morning I go to spa at 7a and I can’t get in. Pool & hot tub open, but no locker room. How people are supposed to shower before getting into pool?! And there were 5 people there! THEY DIDN’T SHOWER! So I called front desk and they told me it’s closed until the spa opened. I knew that was wrong because it has always been open during pool hours. They told me “You aren’t correct because that’s the policy for 1.5 yrs”. Blatantly called me a liar. I go to spa when it opens and talk to spa staff… they agreed it should have been open and front desk was wrong. I’d I’m paying $400/night for my 1 night stay… I expect better! DO BETTER CONRAD!!!

Liked: The property was beautiful. And the staff was tremendous.
Disliked: We upgraded our rooms to one of the nicest rooms in the hotel, and it was quite pricey, and the room was beautiful, but upon staying longer, we noticed the problems with the room. We went to the front desk and they significantly discounted the room due to a full hotel, however, they probably should not rent that room out until the renovations are done especially at $1000 a night.

Not worth the price

Liked: The staff was amazing.
Disliked: 1) we were a couple, they did turn down service for one. 2) no one told us that we had to pay for parking. 3) When they brought our car it was covered in snow. We were supposed to be in a parking garage. 4) for the price per night the TV and the lights were old and not with technology of today. We could have stayed somewhere a lot cheaper and had more for our buck.
