Liked: Not a lot
Disliked: Arriving at 10am except check in wasn’t until 4pm. Was told at 3pm room was ready then told by porter room wasn’t ready issue with plumbing told would be allocated another room an hour later given the same room but our cases had been delivered to someone else’s room even though they were clearly labelled. Bar and outside area were. not always available due to Super Bowl and Weddings told we had to pay to get into bar to watch Super Bowl after speaking to reception were told we could stand at bar for drinks. Had dinner at the STK restaurant told couldn’t leave as payment hadn’t gone through even though it was being charged to room. After my husband went to speak to reception they advised there was no issue and couldn’t understand why the waiter had told us this. The staff were rude and arrogant they have no customer skills and tried to charge us twice for 20% tips when had already been added to bill good job my husband checked the bill. So would not recommend this hotel to anyone a very expensive 5star hotel with a 2 star experience!!!

Fabulous stay at the fabulous...

Liked: This oceanfront property has great views, cooling winds, lots of sunshine, delicious restaurant food (the coconut French toast was the best French toast ever!!!) and is in the perfect location for what I needed. The concierge was very helpful in recommending and arranging tours. The staff at the pools and the restaurant were very kind, attentive and helpful. The wristband keys are wonderful!
Disliked: I can’t think of anything- unless it was the drifting cigar smoke.

Liked: Beautiful decor!! Very artsy and inviting!! Old hotel that has not lost its charm
Disliked: The restaurants were underwhelming. It was hit or miss as far as the food is concerned. Service was exceptional!

Liked: Great location. Nice short walk to beach and short walk out the door to shops and restaurants. Nice large hot tub with water feature. I really disliked the two rooms we had for the second half of our stay. They were sterile and generic and had no character even though they were ocean view rooms. We stayed in the main historic tower the first half of our stay. They were so much more old world glamour feeling.
Disliked: The lack of character and cold/sterile/generic vibe of the rooms in the newer towers. A totally different hotel experience than the glamorous/luxurious and more unique vibe the historic building gives guests. Also, the food at the tequila and tacos restaurant was very bland. Room service food was good, but not the taco restaurant
