Most amazing stay
Liked: An amazing place of history and heritage coming back to live thanks to the wonderful Debbie and Gregory. This is vibrant and truly a place to stay and indulge in.

Special experience, but rather expensive...
Liked: Special atmosphere of an ante bellum house. Very friendly hosts.Breakfast in museum-style room.
Disliked: Narrow and steep stairways, only suitable for people who can lift heavy suitcases. Rather small bed for two.

Loved it
Liked: We absolutely loved it here. House with a very interesting story renovated beautifully and with respect for its history by Gregory and Debbie. They also serve a great breakfast.

So peaceful and wonderful.
Liked: Atmosphere, felt very comfortable and welcoming. Debbie and Greg make you feel as if you are right at home with old friends. That is what will happen, when you leave you will have made friends not jusf acquaintances. By the way Debbie sang Happy Birthday to me that put tears in my eyes. We will never forget their kindness.
Disliked: You can't improve on perfection. Would not change a thing at all.

We'll be back.
Liked: The original purpose of the facility was as living and working quarters for enslaved people and have been updated for modern safety and convenances, while maintaining the historical importance. For those who appreciate history this house has been beautifully and lovingly renovated. Be prepared to learn how to use a skeleton key (that has been backed up with a modern alarm system). Ms. Deborah and Gregory are friendly and welcoming and very knowledgeable, not only about the history of the house but the history of Natchez as well. We had long discussions with Ms. Deborah while we were there, and she was always friendly and helpful, and I would count them among the highlights of our visit to Natchez. Breakfast was always delicious and ready when we got to the dining room and there was something comforting/nostalgic about the smell of cooked bacon wafting through the house. We will definitely stay there the next time we are in Natchez.
Disliked: All the streets downtown are one way and there are random (unmarked) speed bumps around town.
