Liked: To Whom It May Concern,I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with a recent stay at your Comfort Inn location in Woodstock, GA.I reserved a large two-room unit for a 10-day stay. This suite was advertised to include a separate bedroom and living area, a large garden tub, and a spacious kitchen with a seating bar or island. Upon arrival on March 25th, I checked into Room 316 around 7:30 PM, dropped off my luggage, and left to visit family. I returned around 9:00 PM and went to bed shortly after.Unfortunately, I was abruptly awakened around 10:30 PM by a loud banging noise, which at first, I mistook for someone knocking on my door. I got up to investigate but found no one outside. The banging resumed again around midnight and continued sporadically throughout the night, severely disrupting my rest. The next morning, still exhausted, I realized the noise was coming from the elevator next to my room. It appeared the elevator doors were slamming shut so forcefully that it sounded as though they might break through the wall.I reported this to the front desk. The desk agent acknowledged that an elevator repair technician had been on site the previous day and agreed that I should be moved to a quieter location. I was told I would be moved to Room 201, a upgraded large corner room similar but smaller in size and layout to Room 316, but well away from the elevator. I was informed that I could pick up the key later that day after returning from a family visit, which I estimated would be around 3 PM.Later, realizing I would be delayed, I called the front desk and spoke with the same agent. She assured me that it was not a problem and that she would inform the next shift so I could retrieve the key upon my return.However, when I returned to the hotel after 6 PM, the new desk agent had no knowledge of the room change. I had to explain the situation again from the beginning. Eventually, she offered to move me to Room 221.

However, upon moving my belongings and entering Room 221, I found it was still located near the elevator—only about 20 feet away—and the loud banging continued that night. Furthermore, the room was a standard one-room unit, not the spacious two-room suite I had originally booked and paid for.Despite reporting the issue promptly and following all instructions given by your staff, I was never offered a comparable room to the one I had reserved. I was not contacted by a manager, nor was any meaningful effort made to resolve the situation. In fact, I was offered only three bottles of water as compensation for several nights of disrupted sleep and being downgraded to an inferior room type.This experience was deeply disappointing, especially as I regularly stay at this property due to its proximity to my children and grandchildren. Given the significant inconvenience, lack of sleep, and downgrade in room type, I believe a refund is warranted.I hope you will take this complaint seriously and respond with a resolution. I would prefer to continue staying at your property in the future, but only if I can feel confident that your staff and management are willing to address customer concerns with appropriate care and professionalism.

Wasn’t a pleasant day too...
Liked: Everything was fine
Disliked: We heard nothing but kids jumping bumping into the walls couch and yelling running in the hallway they were doing moaning sounds and I called the front desk but it didn’t help it didn’t stop until around 4:30 5 am
