Great staff, run down hotel

Liked: The staff was great - just great.
Disliked: The facilities were really run down, my carpet (pet room) had a big stain. The parking lot has dump sites in it - the part behind the hotel. The room has poor maintenance, and things like: my room ran out of hot water, the plus for the tub did not work & when the tornado sirens were sounding - there aren’t any instructions as to what to do, where to go etc. when I called the front desk, they just said, yes we are under a tornado warning.

The only thing we liked...

Liked: The beds were very comfortable
Disliked: The sheets were stained. The was mold in the shower. We didn't have an iron. The remote wasn't working. One elevator smelled HORRIBLE like wet dog. And in the other elevator, an elderly man pooped in it and even after they cleaned, it still smelled bad and the pool had NO towels

Liked: The staff were just great! GREAT! This review isn’t of the staff - it’s of the owners which have let the facility get run down, even to not clearing up the “dump sites” in their parking lot. If there are issues with that; get cameras, and prosecute. It’s not ina great neighborhood- it’s so crazy noisy form the freeway and the curtains don’t even cover the whole window. Stains on the carpet, hot water ran out; the pug for the tub never worked.
Disliked: Everything but the staff - the staff were great!
