This hotel did not meet...

Disliked: This is advertised as being located in the historic area of St. Augustine, but that is a giant stretch of the truth. It's on the side of the busy highway, and a rather unpleasant walk to get to the actual historic area that is shown in pictures. Issues with our thermostat in room that kept resetting A/C to 85 in the middle of the night and made sleep terrible. The low quality breakfast was only served until 9:30am, but they started to break it down at about 9:15, and refused to refill milk pitchers, etc. since it was too close to closing time. $10 per day for parking, which was not stated in property description, other than apparently an icon that denotes a charge for parking, which I did not recognize, so therefore was not looking for. Walls are very thin and we were able to clearly hear our neighbors conversations. All in all, it is very poor value for what you get. Management had a very laissez-faire attitude--like everything was someone else's problem and "we're so sorry", but no offer to compensate for 2 nights of no sleep, etc. They did send the maintenance man to reattach the bathroom faucet that was nearly disconnected from the sink (it was like that when we arrived), and to fix the thermostat on the 2nd day, but he did not speak English at all and I was not able to communicate to him that it needed to be reprogrammed, not just reset to the current temp.

Wonderful hotel!

Liked: Spacious and clean rooms, with friendly staff.
Disliked: Wish the breakfast bar had a better selection, but overall it's a very nice hotel!

Liked: Staff was very accommodating and friendly the room was clean and comfortable. I had just left a different hotel due to it being disgusting and losing a $90 non refundable room charge. The staff helped me quickly get in a room and handled everything. I will definitely be back.
Disliked: Nothing everything was perfect.

Liked: Our stay was great, staff was very friendly, it was a newer hotel, very clean close to downtown historic area, not walking distance but that's fine, would stay at this hotel again
Disliked: What I don't understand is why would you pay a parking fee for hotels in the area ( most all do), makes no sense? But this one was only 10$ a night, most are more so....
