Perfect extended weekend

Liked: The front desk clerk was so friendly and personable. We wanted a room upstairs and it was a peaceful stay!

Beyond AWEFUL

Liked: It was completely over hyped in the info and I was disgusted when we got there. The pot smell was so bad on our floor we had to put towels under the door to try and keep it out of our room with small children. The room wasn’t clean…black hair on the back of the toilet and I could only guess how very long ago the tub was REALLY cleaned. If we hadn’t checked in after 9pm and had super exhausted small children we would NOT have stayed. The front end clerk was useless….i had to repeatedly ask for things like bedding for the fold out sofa and other things. She had no idea so I had to suggest where she could find them for us. It was not a stay I wish to repeat!!

Decent, definitely not great

Liked: Location is great. Close to a lot of good restaurants and around half hour drive to sea world or downtown San Antonio. The beds were comfortable, AC worked great and we had no problems with WiFi connectivity.
Disliked: They have two elevators and only one was working. Apparently this non-working elevator has been this way for a while based on other reviews. We were on the third floor and the single elevator was so slow that we opted to use the stairs most the time. The first night we arrived the elevator had a pile of puke in it that we had to step over to get into the elevator. I notified the girl at the front desk about the puke and all she said back was “oh my gosh”. She didn’t say “sorry, we’ll get that cleaned up right away”. The puke did get cleaned up a couple hours later. The second day we woke up and went to sea world and when we came back that evening the room had not been cleaned, the towels and coffee were not restocked and bed was not made. Also, the parking lot is not very well lit which made me worried about a break in. All in all I feel like we paid way too much for a very mediocre hotel.
