Disappointing

Disliked: The manager, Diego was rude and will not make any exceptions Off canceling one night out of the two. He would not change date even for emergency medical reason. Very disappointing, as we stay there every time we travel to see our kids.

Very nice area with great...

Liked: The location was nice as it was around a lot of shops and stores. It can be a little noisy at night but not overwhelming to the point that you can not get a good night's sleep. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I liked the mini convenience area within the lobby to get last-minute items or snacks whenever needed throughout the day.
Disliked: I did not like the toilet in the bathroom as it looked run down. The bathroom occasionally had a rotting smell randomly throughout our stay. When requesting a clean-up, the bathroom was not swept properly. The microwave in the room was broken resulting us having to go to the breakfast area to heat up our meals.

Liked: The hotel is so clean and the room we had was amazing. The bed was so comfortable, I will definitely be staying their again. Also they had the most amazing staff

Can’t be location, hotel is...

Liked: The location was perfect. Walking distance to so many things and downtown Oceanside! Less than a mile to walk to the beach. The staff were all very friendly at the front desk and helpful with suggestions. Since it was our first time in the area, we looked at hotel chains to have a better idea of knowing what we would get, but there are plenty of really cute vacation rentals that are probably comparable prices.
Disliked: I saw other reviews stating this- it’s definitely run down. For the price, it didn’t meet expectations in that respect. The furniture is all scuffed up and worn. Bathroom is ok. The room door had a pretty sizable gap along the side where light and sound and came in from the hallway, which made the room pretty loud.

Pricy for what you get....

Liked: The location is amazing. So close to so much!
Disliked: Odd lay out. Rooms are very old and need updating. Very dingy. The water heater needs to be replaced. More seating by pool. Please fix the old coffee maker. Terrible.
