I ended up staying at a Marriott after trying two rooms, accessed by a very moldy-smelling external elevator. I asked the general manager to refund my money but I have no idea how that will work.

Disliked: Unsafe; smelly; broken equipment; blood stains on sheets; undesirable guests.

Liked: Great motel, facility was super clean, nice pool.
Disliked: You kind of have to drive through a bad part of town, so I was debating staying there. However the hotel felt very secure and was monitored closely.
