Hidden gem in Kilgore

Liked: Staff was wonderful, it was like staying at your favorite Aunts home. The breakfast on the morning of our stay was homemade egg burritos. Not those faux egg omelets most of these hotels serve. They also has biscuits and cream gravy. When I spoke to the server, she said they have a different breakfast every day, all homemade. I will definitely be coming back here for my next visit to East Texas.
Disliked: Pillows. Not just this hotel, but most hotels. I will never understand why hotels don't use oversized polyester pillow that have some substance to them, not these tiny cotton ball pillows that go flat as soon as you put your head on them.
