Wet, wet, wet. Humidity galore.

Liked: Right next door to Walmart. The staff is also very lovely.
Disliked: The 3rd floor was a humidity nightmare. The rooms actually feel wet, as if they have been rained in. We were originally in 302, but found black mold in the AC. Switched to room 308. It is SUPER HUMID. Do not underestimate this. The floors feel damp, the bedding feels damp, the air is damp; seriously, the humidity is unreal. Almost to the point where you can’t breathe. Rooms could definitely benefit from having a dehumidifier in them. The entire 3rd floor and rooms on it all smell like mildew. It will hit you right in the face the second you get off the elevator; a strong scent of mildew. Someone said they believe this hotel got MASSIVE water damage when the hurricane hit and the place was never properly dried, so now it’s just wetness and mildew. I got sick in room 308 because it was either hot and wet or cold and wet. Going back and forth between hot and cold frequently with that humidity level made me sick with a cold. Could barely sleep soundly the entire time we were there due to how uncomfortably WET everything was. We stayed a whole week, but these conditions never changed. The only reason we stayed was because it would have been too much of a hassle to try and get a refund. My oldest son stated being in there felt like how you would feel after you’ve jumped in the pool with your clothes on, and he was right. The dampness and mildew issue is enough to ensure I will never be back. On the plus side, the staff is amazing!
