Liked: Superb value for the location. I was pleasantly surprised at the spaciousness of the room and the updates.

A nice place to stay.

Liked: The room is larger than most hotel rooms. Some of the staff have been the same each time we have stayed at the hotel & they are very friendly. The breakfast was very good. Loved the red velvet waffles. The breakfast area is usually always clean. Liked that there is a pool for the kids. This last time the pool temperature was a bit to cold but they did get in the hot tube for a few moments & enjoyed their time in there.
Disliked: I don't think the room had been cleaned well this time. I spoke with the cleaning manager who happened to be on the floor outside our room & I told her there were towels hung up behind the bathroom door that had been used & were still left there. So it makes you wonder if the room really was cleaned. She got us new towels & said yes they had a new person on the floor that day & yes they would address this better in training. We had not experienced this before. This was our 3 or 4th time staying at this location.

It was quiet and safe...

Liked: Location was good and in a safe area.
Disliked: The carpet in the hallway was much new than in the room. The carpet in the room looked old. There was water damage in the bathroom by the toilet on the wall and floor. There was rust all over the door frames of the bathroom and closet. The heater/air conditioner didn’t work properly. Thank goodness it wasn’t in the heat of the summer.

Disliked: The “hot”tub was more like a cool tub we were told in advance but we still went swimming

Disliked: Cock roaches in the bathroom. Found on crawling on the toilet seat and a smaller one on the floor.
