Liked: It’s a perfect location for us to visit our family—an 8-minute drive away. If you get a room facing away from the road and on an upper floor, it’s a very pleasant view into, and above, a small woods, and it’s quiet. It also offers large rooms with a separate sitting area from the beds where someone can sit without disturbing someone sleeping. It was clean, comfortable, and fresh a few years ago when we first began going there. But the premises has gradually degraded since then.
Disliked: 1) It’s not being properly maintained. The walls (even in the elevator) have plenty of worn off paint, chips, scrapes, and smudges/dirt, and floor tiles in our room were separating and worn. Some furniture had large, multiple scrapes where the finish had been scraped.2) Cleanliness/upkeep is lax. Our shower curtain was torn in multiple spots and had stains. There was soap on the wall of the shower—and the shower whined and whistled non-stop when showering.3) We hate the fact they got rid of the carpet in the room and instead have cheap, pseudo-wood, linoleum flooring. It’s no longer cozy.4) We were warned that the room might be cold to start because the heating had been turned down. Ha! The thermostat was OFF and the room temp read 59 degrees. The fuel pump system was subpar and after 45 minutes, at full blast, only raised the temp to 64. We considered changing rooms, but when we came back later the temp had risen to 68 and eventually reached our desired 71 degrees. It maintained that temp, so we stayed put.

Disliked: It was filthy, there was hair in the bed, the floors were dirty, and someone had left their nasty fake fingernails by the hot tub. There was also trash piled in the hallway when we arrived, and even more when we left. The second floor also stunk like cigarettes
