The hotel was clean and well decorated for the season - was very warm and inviting and the rates were perfect. Will definitely stay here again!

Liked: The maintenance man helped me get my things when I left I disliked all other staff
Disliked: Construction in lobby and near pool the was to much chemicals in the pool it made me break out front desk unprofessional failed to mention an up charge and breakfast was awful

Liked: The room was spacious, we could see that some updates had taken place.Not many hallway sounds, and none late at night. Breakfast choices were good.
Disliked: We were not prepared for the extensive renovations that were taking place in the lobby areas. It would have been nice to know ahead of time. They did not affect the room itself, but it would have been nice to know in advance. We did have some tiny "sugar ants" in the bathroom. We killed some more than once. I showed a picture to the desk attendant and told her where they were.

Stop Work Order!

Liked: Good breakfast
Disliked: The hotel was being remodeled but was under a stop work order. Tile was left out around the service counter, causing a trip hazard as well as in other places. The west exterior door had a note on it telling you to hold the door so it wouldn't slam. It pinched my fingers as I tried to keep it from slamming shut. I would have to turn the heat off in my room because it was an oven in there. Even though the thermostat said 68, it had to be in the mid 70's. I had reserved a handicap room, and the hotel staff told me I must have made a mistake in my booking and said they would get me a different room. I told them no, I had reserved it for a reason. The staff said it was for the disabled and I should change my reservation. I explained that I reserved that room for a reason because of my disability. I shouldn't have to explain why I reserved a room.

Liked: The room and shower were very nice
Disliked: The heating unit could not be adjusted. Most of the night it was about 85+ degrees and then for short bursts it was 70. We couldn’t sleep hardly at all because it was so hot you just couldn’t hardly breath or sleep. It was very unpleasant. We would have talked to the front desk staff but it was later when we arrived and didn’t realize the heat was going to not change after we set it lower.

Liked: The beds were very comfortable. I liked the walk in shower. The rooms seemed fairly quiet. The warm breakfast is always a nice touch.
Disliked: Although the beds were comfortable, they were a little too high to get into , especially for a short person.

Night out with Grandkids, unfortunately...

Liked: Room was fine.
Disliked: Was not prepared for all of the "upgrading" going on. Maneuvering around the workers, lobby, what was set up as a "breakfast" area. Very disappointed as I had thought about scheduling a block of rooms for some visitors to come in from out of town. Glad I went prior to blocking the rooms. Holiday Inn Express was much better and a lower cost. There was no reason for the pool to be closed, as the workers were still laying the tile in the lobby, not the hall to the pool.
