Over-all the room & firm...

Liked: Mattress was excellent. Room spacious and clean. Fridge functional
Disliked: Not a negative per se. Staff did the minimum and were seen smoking on break and eating on break right outside main doors. Unless they were the only one manning the front desk? It would be good if they could be trained to greet people with a smile and ask them if there’s anything they can help with and be more interactive when walking about. But we appreciated that they were polite and responded when we had a question.

Couldn't pay me to stay...

Liked: Only nice thing I can say is that the location was good. Easy to the interstate and lots of shopping.
Disliked: The room was, old and seemingly in the middle of a bad renovation. Half painted, paint peeling,, not completely clean ( I found hairs in the bathroom upon arrival, as well as corners and baseboards dirty) Furniture not kept in good repair. The breakfast staff (one guy) was horrible at his job. He very rarely refilled anything, and if he did it was poorly timed (like 5 minutes before breakfast closed) So breakfast turned into everyone sitting around waiting for nothing. It also didn't feel very hygenic.When we checked in the lady at the desk was very busy and she asked if we could come back later in the evening and get sheets for the pull out bed. When we did this we were told they were ALL OUT OF LINENS! What hotel runs out of linens? But the icing on the cake was the dead cockroach on the floor in the morning.I would not recommend staying here. Maybe it used to be nice, but not anymore.

Disliked: Someone came into my room even though I had a do not disturb sign on the door i advised the front desk and she offered to move us into another room and said she would let her supervisor know. When checking out at 4am I rang the bell and night auditor had an attitude because she was woken up out of her sleep I inquired on when I would receive my deposit back and she stated i might get it back and i might not get it back depending on how the room looks after they check it because she is not the one who checks them. They next day after I checked out i received an email about my complaint stating that i made false claims which everything they wrote in the email is nothing that I stated every word was twisted around and at the end of it they advised I would be put on a do not booking list for the property (which I could care less about because I hadn't planned on booking there ever again due to my experience) and i would not receive a refund or my deposit back due to a lingering smell of marijuana which was a lie because i dont not smoke . So be aware the staff makes false claims and they are very very rude and unprofessional and you would think they would do better because there is already a stigma on AA people in todays world but yeah they will try to keep your deposit for whatever reason they see fit, also one elevator is broke so you have to take the stairs or walk all the way around to use the other elevator by the office and gates are also broken so its not very safe and secure because there is a brick holding it open during the day time allowing anyone to just walk in freely
