Liked: The staff was AMAZING! Very friendly, and the front desk lady was wonderful!! I wish I was better with names because I honestly forgot. She was very knowledgeable about the area and made us feel welcomed. The rooms were very clean. This is coming from a retired head housekeeper. The air filters were clean, with no miscellaneous hairs on the sheets, comforterer, bathroom floor, or toilet. No dust anywhere, no bugs, shower curtains didn't have stains, the mattress had a mattress cover, no bed bugs, and pillows had pillow covers, the fridge was clean. There wasn't 1 thing I could find wrong with our room. Housekeepers are the heartbeat of the hotel, and Comfort Inn at West Gate has an amazing team. I sure hope their housekeepers are compensated enough for their hard work and dedication. I don't mean by buying them lunch every now and then either. We will definitely be back during our next planned trip to Spartanburg. Thank you, Comfort Inn at West Gate!!
