Comfortable. Would recommend.

Liked: Suited our purpose for 1 night stopover. The view of the city and sunrise was lovely. Good location, away from city traffic and noise. Staff were lovely and helpful.
Disliked: Overall it was clean, but shower could do with a deep clean.

Smelly

Liked: Property well located for the sights in Mt Gambier
Disliked: We entered the room and there was an unpleasant, overwhelming smell (mould and sewerage) in the bathroom. We notified reception whose response was the motel was full and we can’t move rooms. They did have the cleaner come to clean again, but it didn’t help the smell. We had to sleep with the bathroom light and fan on to keep it manageable. If we turned the fan off the smell returned. We asked to leave after that night but the hotel would only refund us one night of our stay. The staff didn’t come to check if the smell was there, just that nobody else had ever complained so it couldn’t be the room. You can clearly see mould on the walls in the photo. Booking . Com were useless and left the decision on refund up to the property.

Great location, big room and...

Liked: The location was great, really close to the main street but also to tourist attractions like the Blue Lake. The room was nice and spacious and the bed was really comfortable!! We did a late check in so didn't deal much with staff, but on check out they were really friendly.
Disliked: The water pressure in the shower was a bit average. It was really hard to wash out my shampoo and conditioner but that was the only thing I could fault.
