My stay was absolutely blissful.

Liked: The room was clean and the staff were friendly. The breakfast was amazing and the indoor pool was nice. Very affordable and accommodating. I will definitely visit again.

Unpleasant; so noisy all night...

Disliked: 1. It was very noisy at night due to idling trucks in the hotel parking area and at the truck stop across the road, as well as truck traffic on nearby highways2. No dinner available on premises, very few nearby restaurants 3. The hotel advertised having a gym and swimming pool, but both were closed. (I feel the advertising was deceptive.)4. The location is way too distant from Coatesville as well as nearby tourist attractions (info on the Booking.com site was not entirely accurate)5. The breakfast service doesn’t start early enough in the morning - I had to leave before they started serving.

Disliked: It was NOT ADA compliant. The room stated wheelchair accessible and had a roll-in shower, but the bed was at least 36” off the floor and I couldn’t get in it. I had to sleep sitting upright in a chair. I spoke to the girl at the desk and asked if they had a step stool to get up into the bed, but the only thing they had was a utility ladder. She said she would speak to the manager or bring a step stool from home. Mind you, I am at a conference ministering early in the morning to late at night. As soon as we checked in we had to leave for the conference and didn’t get back to the room till after midnight. We had to leave the next morning at about 6 am and ministered until late getting to the room by 11:30. Again, the girl forgot to bring the step stool and the manager did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. We were up again to finish the conference early and got back to the room about 4pm. I spoke to a different girl at the desk this time. She took my phone number and told me the manager would call me. When we got back to the room the phone rang. It was the manager who told me it was my fault for not leaving and finding another hotel. I was hardly at the hotel and I was promised a room for a handicapped person!!! He started talking over me and I told him to stop which he did not so I raised my voice. He told me if I raised my voice to him again he would hang up on me. So I hung up on him. My husband went to get more towels for the room and while he was gone the girl called me and told me I had a little time to get my things out of the room before I left. He said the manager said I was leaving. I told her I was most definitely not because I wasn’t going to pack up all my stuff again to go to another hotel for one more night. I’m exhausted and so thoroughly disgusted to be treated this way as a handicapped person. My husband has already contacted an attorney. This a civil rights issue and this hotel should be avoided at all costs.

In the Heart of All...

Liked: Breakfast was well done everyday (three days) and was within what you would expect from this level hotel. The meals were hot, the waffle machine was awesome and the bacon crisp. The eggs were omelets with orange cheese. It was clean, organized and, as this is a smaller hotel, it was never crowded.The location was awesome! So close to the things we want to see and do. Strasburg and the Strasburg railroad were 10 minutes away. Many antiques markets were nearby and the were even a couple of fun microbreweries nearby. You are really in the Pennsylvania Dutch country and there is so much to see and do.The room was clean and the bathroom was very roomy and modern. The shower was awesome and we have really hot water.
Disliked: Not big on smaller pillows, but that is the way hotels are going now. I'm nitpicking but there really was not much to dislike. It is difficult to get in and out of the entrance and the highway is double yellow line and you need to drive a little to an intersection or business to turn around.
