Great stay! Location was perfect,...

Liked: We were very pleased with our stay. The staff were great. The location was perfect! We were there for a dance competition at the Dekker Centre which, even though we still drove to and from, was within walking distance of the hotel. We were also right by the Western Development Museum, the Aquatic Centre, and many different shopping options and restaurants. Our entire family loved the arcade within the hotel with lots of options including; air hockey, ping pong, foosball, PacMan, racing, and billiards! The breakfast options were also satisfactory. The hotel was very clean including the lobby, breakfast area, gym, halls, elevators, and rooms. We regularly saw staff cleaning and it always smelled fresh. The room was spacious, beds comfortable, bathroom clean.
Disliked: The only thing we wish would have been better (like any other hotel, to be fair) is that although the curtains were black out, the light still creeped in the edges and middle. It wasn't horrible but definitely noticeable. Between lights outside at night and sunlight in the morning, the room was lighter than we would have hoped for. The shower head was also not our favourite. It was mounted and fixed directly above you and it was hard for me to keep my hair from staying dry when I didn't want to wash it. My kids weren't fans of it at all, my son avoiding it altogether.

Disliked: Staff at free breakfast were not the greatest for hostess and the third part site didn’t say nothing about the $500.00 damage deposit, but did say $250.00 which was largely inaccurate to what we had to pay and should be looked into as it is false information to booking.com and disappointing to misleading.
