Very nice hotel, but too...

Liked: The staff were friendly. The room was pretty nice. The beds were super comfortable.
Disliked: There were a number of rude and ignorant teenage girls that were also staying there. They were taking over the pool and hot tub and not following the pool rules. One girl came in the hot tub and started picking at something on her foot. I understand that the hotel is not to blame for this. I would like to make a suggestion. The pool and hot tub hours were adults only from 10pm-midnight. Maybe there could be an hour from 8-9 or 9-10 for those age 21 and over, then have kids again from 10-11 and 11-12 adults only. Some of us older ones are too tired to wait till 10pm to be able to enjoy some peace in the hot tub and pool. Also maybe periodically a staff member could look in to see if people are following the pool rules. These teenage girls were not following any of the rules. Also, kids coughing and sneezing all over the food at the complimentary breakfast. Thank you, rant over

Liked: Nothing. I made an error booking this hotel. My family that live in Red Deer explained this hotel and those close to it are used mostly for work crews. I will NEVER stay here again or suggested to anyone.
Disliked: Everything. This hotel smells like wet dog and stale smoke, dirty lobby. I didn't ask for another room because the woman who was at the desk said EVERY room available for people with pets. I thought why bother change rooms if they all smell like wet dog. . The dog poop outside windows on the ground floor ( i had family in 2 rooms ground floor) they are smokers, one had a dog with them and they were having the same issues with the smells. Opening the windows did not help. I suggest anyone staying in Red Deer to book away from this hotel and the ones close to it. All those vehicles you see in the evening are work crews, not visiting.
