Enjoyed stay. Went to Burl's Creek to see The Hip. $38 cab ride to venue - would have appreciated a shuttle or a much lower rate for a taxi!

Disliked: Smoking room "block" was very smelly.

Liked: Very clean, nice staff and perfect location with Tim Hortons just behind the building! Nice breakfast options in the morning if you're on the go.

Liked: The hotel breakfast was very good!
Disliked: The hotel is old. No elevator, no pool, very old small fridge and a very old microwave. One heater (in the bedroom room 301) doesn’t work and smells of burning electrical. Heavy pot smell on third floor all weekend. Only clean and tend to rooms every other day.

Disliked: I brought my parents to Barrie for a funeral. I was not aware there was no elevator and the entrances were covered in ice. We had to enter in door 3 where when we went out for dinner had a gentlemen in the stairwell smoking from a bong etc.
