Pleasantly surprised by an amazing...

Liked: Even though some things like the carpet were outdated, this is the cleanest hotel I have stayed at in years! It was very comfortable, and the room and the grounds were spotless. The staff that I had the pleasure of working with Lesa and Howard were very kind and curtious.Over the past 4 years I have had to travel to the St Paul MN area for multiple appointments. My husband and I and our service dog have to generally spend at least one night in a hotel. We book medium class type hotel rooms. This hotel far exceeded all my expectations!!
Disliked: The carpet and bathroom tile need to be updated. This, however, was not an issue due to the quality of the housekeeping.

Friendly Shakopee Inn

Liked: Very friendly staff and other customers, and ease of having our large dog there.
Disliked: Smoky smell came through vents, probably from someone smoking illegally in or near the building, but this was not a downside to a very pleasant stay.

Liked: Water pressure.
Disliked: The smell, mold, bathroom fan leaked, not enough towels, dimly lit, my cell phone didn't work in the building. I didn't feel safe.

Liked: clean quiet and pet friendly
Disliked: I don't think I should be charged per pet each day. you only clean after I leave because we put the sign out. we reuse our towels don't allow our dogs on the beds or to run loose to have accidents. they are confined to their crates except when going outside to potty. we cleaned up after others that left messes outside.

Liked: Staff always accommodating. Enjoyed my daily swims and great breakfast. Been coming for over 20 years for autumn festival.

Affordable hottub suite in quiet...

Liked: Great hottub in an affordable and clean room.
Disliked: Exterior and common spaces/hallways were dated and worn. Bed was not very comfortable.

Disliked: Flies in the room, limited parking, light switch out of the wall and unable to close curtains to block out the light from outside

Liked: This was my worst experience at a hotel. I bought an upgraded suite to have a nice night in and it was terrible. First of all the carpet was wet around the tub. It smelled of mold. Had holes in the wall and found food by the bed
Disliked: Everything. The whole hotel smelled of mold and old sweat. All of the breakfast was gone and not stocked or stale. Room was not clean and had wet carpet. The smell in the hotel was so bad it made us sick
